The Weber Woods section of Cockaponset State Forest is a well kept secret among the locals. It has become a favorite hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking asylum from the hectic shoreline lifestyle. The trails are fairly well kept and the surface of most trails are not very rugged at all. Additionally, there are several areas made for horse jumping.
